Milestone Gears’ forging and hardening facilities are equipped with advanced machinery and process control systems to ensure superior precision and consistency in component manufacturing. The setup includes pneumatic hammers of 1, 2.5, 3 and 5 tons (HUTA) with integrated billet heating arrangements, enabling high‑quality forging operations.

The plant utilises an online temperature-based accept/reject mechanism to guarantee process accuracy and maintain metallurgical integrity. It is capable of producing forgings ranging from 0.5 kg to 50 kg in various shapes and sizes, catering to diverse industrial requirements.

Additionally, the facility houses seven upsetters ranging from 4 inches to 7.5 inches, accommodating upset forging of shafts and rear axles with flange diameters up to 350 mm. Induction bar-end heating systems further enhance process efficiency and control.

All continuous normalizing, annealing and hardening furnaces are SCADA controlled and monitored, ensuring uniform heat treatment and reliable quality across every batch.
